Gilbert Bria was born in 1933 in Cannes.
Mr. Bria is before everything a painter. He has started exhibits since 1958. In 1963, he exhibits with Cocteau, Lurcat, Picasso, and Picabia. Until 1970, he exhibits mainly in France. Since 1971, he exhibits in Switzerland, Italy and, USA, where Henri Kissinger buys one of his pieces that he will exhibit at the White House.
Many paintings were ordered by the Embassy of the German Democratic Republic in Paris, and by the Embassy of Paraguay in Spain, and also by the Princess Faiçal from Saudi Arabia for her palace…
